Finn S Apr 3, 2019 Different Flowers (2017) There's an obvious reason that nearly ALL the oddly positive 5-star audience reviews/ratings before today (April 3, 2019) are without doubt: ***FAKE***FAKE***FAKE*** All these supposed Rotten Tomatoes "users" signed up only to bombarded the audience review section with perfect scores and glowing reviews, Each user has posted nothing other than one perfect review for this film. That's about as low a filmmaker and/or producer can get with regard to shameless, free promos as part of an overall dishonest 'marketing technique' - using manipulation to con the actual audience into viewing it based on faith in the TomatoMeter. The fake reviews will likely be reported or discovered by moderators. RT has IP address for each review. How very dishonest and conniving can one be about their film? Even if the production is decent, somebody apparently has NO CONFIDENCE that the artistic work will hold up on its own merits. A few actual unique-IP users are giving this movie a THUMBS DOWN or low-star rating. I quickly gave it a chance without looking closer into the perfect reviews; I took them for granted as many would. However, after 15 minutes into a student-film quality snooze-fest, it became clear: duped by repetitive 5-stars. If the majority of reviews had been honest, I might have finished watching (as Indie film support), but not with fake-review aftertaste. Such a shameful ploy for an audience. IMDb used to have severe problems like this (even w/bots), but have since improved a bit by employing auto-check on repetitive glowing reviews blasted around the same time period - usually using the same IP. FAKE REVIEWS are considered unethical in the industry, especially among the indie community. There's not much to see here; move on to other films with noticeable integrity...whether they're actually good nor not. See more

Harry G Aug 14, 2018 I loved this movie! It is so refreshing to watch a movie with strong female leads. It is a well written movie with a story of two sisters that takes you back to the heartland. Shelly Long gives a strong performance along with the many other cameos. The setting of this movie is so impressive and it is so beautifully shot it makes you want to visit all the fun locations-the World's Largest Ball of Twine!! I highly recommend you check out this film. See more

Hermione R Jul 30, 2018 Watch this movie! It was a blast! The setting is a midwest town and I felt like I was there. The music is so great. I loved it! I am so happy to discover this is a female written/directed movie. We need girl power and this movie shows why! Loved it! See more

Hermione P Jul 29, 2018 Have you ever had a movie capture your attention and take you to a place that is engaging and interesting throughout the whole film? It is a great feeling and that is how I feel about this movie. I was captured by the hometown feel of this film. It made me want to search out these locations and go there (yes I realize it was probably a movie set!). The director of this movie really got the best out of all the actors in this film. I would have bet money the sisters were siblings in real life. I just love it and would recommend it to anyone that needs a positive escape into a midwestern town and a family feel. Well done! See more

George L Jul 29, 2018 I have a sister so I really was interested in this movie when I saw it listed on Showtime. It was well worth my time. I enjoyed how the writer caught the sister bond and sometimes discord of sisters so well. The opposites of the sisters really added to the storyline and kept my interest. The great performance by my childhood hero, Sterling Knight, was awesome also. He was great in this movie and it brought back some fun memories of other heart throb shows I watched with him in them. This is a fun movie for everyone. It has a great vibe because the music and setting really add to the story. I recently noticed I could buy the DVD and plan to do so. Loved it! See more
