What to Know

Critics Consensus

Lacking enough material for a full-length movie, D.E.B.S. is short on both plot and laughs.

As much as D.E.B.S. was a passion project for [filmmaker Angela] Robinson... it is foremost a fun, silly action comedy about sends up Charlie's Angels. Go to Full Review

It's so spoofy it's difficult to call 'good' or even 'bad'; just say it's smooth. Go to Full Review

D.E.B.S. stands for "Discipline. Energy. Beauty. Strength." But it might as well stand for "Daft. Earnest. Banal. Sophomoric." Go to Full Review

The action sequences tend to lack urgency and suspense, and they're actually rather boring. The love story is the interesting part, and it's both a product of its time and ahead of it Go to Full Review

As with the majority of the most eminently watchable films of that period, sometimes it is best not to ask 'how good,' but rather 'how gay.' Go to Full Review

Leia R Nov 30, 2018 An oft misunderstood film, D.E.B.S. plays kitschy spoof film alongside lighthearted yet unironic star-crossed queer love story. Romance more realistic than many imagine. A breakthrough film in many respects that people won't recognize until much later. So much respect to Jordana Brewster, Sara Foster, Devon Aoki, Jill Ritchie, and Angela Robinson. See more
Finn W Nov 18, 2018 As far as it being incredibly cliché on a low budget, it's a nice film for those new to their sexuality. As a child, it was my favorite movie, and I'm sure it will be yours if you see it for what it can be. A teenage romcom! 9/10 See more
Kylo W Oct 25, 2018 If multiverse theory is correct, somewhere there is a reality in which D.E.B.S. isn't gay, and that must truly be the darkest timeline. See more
May 8, 2018 It was a good film to watch for young adults, I'll would watch D.E.B.S. overs again.
Apr 18, 2018 This movie is the ridiculous, cheesy, heartwarming flick that young LGBT people need to see. Definitely a rare gem.
Han S Apr 18, 2018 Seen it several times and own the DVD am gonna buy it on vudu too. Very interesting female spy version sort of James bond and Cody Banks films. See more
