The animation is solid and the voice acting is even better. And as someone who read and followed “Flashpoint”, I can’t help but appreciate the film’s loyalty.

It's the butterfly effect as comic book apocalypse and it's a dark, brutal animated film.

The film feels unique and vibrant if only for the fact that it's the painfully rare DCAU title that doesn't revolve around Batman, Superman, or a Batman/Superman-led Justice League.

For all its apocalyptic fate-of-the-world theatrics, this...[adaptation of] the 2011 graphic novel Flashpoint by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert...has an emotional core to give purpose to its crazy amounts of mayhem. [Blu-ray]

Years from now it may be looked at as the animated film that took the direct to video comic book movie market to another level of storytelling possibilities. Yes, it's that good.

DC succeeds in their animated universe. Just know that a film is good if you go to the bookstore to search for the source material after watching it, because that's how beautiful this movie is to watch much like Batman: Under the Redhood , its emotional and every scene counts. All the superheroes look good on this one. Aquaman fans will most definitely love this movie because it portrays him as a bad-ass king who's only concerns are Atlantis' well being and supremacy, his love affair with Wonder Woman is actually better than Clark and Diana's love life- two royals with two different backgrounds uniting to end an apocalyptic never ending war that divides the entire world . This movie has so many cameos and it involves the entire DC universe. It ultimately carries so much replay value and proves to be one of DC's best animated movies ever!

Why do I have the feeling that Marvel is stealing most of their ideas from DC? Spiderman: into the spiderverse, I'm looking at you.

The movie and storyline was upright intriguing. It's like you didn't want the movie to end. I would've gave it 5 starts, but the Animation felt off. It's noticeable, but not for long. Still amazing movie.
