Critics Consensus

Daddy Day Care does its job of babysitting the tots. Anyone older will probably be bored.

Rey W Mar 9, 2019 Distressed that the score is so low. It's a solid movie!
Hermione G Jan 24, 2019 Eddie Murphy is okay and Steve Zahn is fine, But, Lame jokes, Too many Sci-fi references to be funny and a terrible preformance by Jeff Garlin. See more
Rey S Jan 20, 2019 the humor is lame and the sci-fi references get old fast. Although Eddie Murphy's and Steve Zahn's preformance is fine. Jeff Garlin's is over the top and annoying. See more
Ron L Nov 7, 2018 If nothing else, Daddy Day Care proves what a rare find the motion picture Holes is - a family film that's made with every member of the family in mind, not just those still in diapers. This is one of those nearly unwatchable movies that becomes an endurance contest for any thinking adult. The comedy - or what passes for it - consists of lame, predictable jokes that would be rejected by many mediocre sit-coms. (If you chuckle twice, you will have a better time than I did.) The sentimentality, which at times reaches unbearable levels, is saccharine and cloying. If you are a fan of Eddie Murphy better avoid this. See more
Leia S Apr 6, 2018 my favorite movie of all time!!!
Kylo L Feb 24, 2018 I love it. It's a feel good, family/kid friendly movie!
