"Curvature" wants to get the heart racing and the mind bending simultaneously, but flatlines in both departments.

A decent, if slightly frustrating, experience but worth your time if you like stories about time.

While the majority of audiences are spending their time watching spandex-clad heroes clogging up the multiplex and binge-watching on Netflix and Amazon, there are a few of us out there seeking something a little different.

It's mostly entertaining but can't find a consistency to its mysterious take on time travel.

Curvature never generates the energy it needs to succeed, held back by its leaden script, but it's still an indicator of talent and one hopes that more refined work will follow.

Worst time travel film Iï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)ve seen. This makes absolutely no sense at all. The character makes huge leaps in understanding about what is going on without providing any evidence as to why she would think that. I kept watching hoping it would come together and make some sort of sense at the end - it didnï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)t!

Definitely far more pros than cons here, especially if you're into a little mind-bending time logic. Performances and directing are all great, although I thought the main character makes some interesting decisions for such a smart person. But then again, she's having a rough go. Definitely recommend for fans of indie sci-fi.
