With the help of student assistant Boris and stolen university equipment, Dr. Harry Wolper plans to clone his dead wife. But then he meets Meli, an egg donor for his experiment, and they fall in love. Faced with choosing between his deceased wife and Meli, Dr. Wolper sees his situation in a new light when Boris' own new love, Barbara, falls into a coma. Meanwhile, another professor tries shutting down the cloning project.

Not probably the most dominant opinion, but I think this is a fantastic movie. It's a whirlwind of profound ideas, love and comedy. Sometimes those are all the same. If you haven't seen it, treat yourself.

Love story about an old man trying to re-grow his dead wife inside a test tube like a baby. I don't know why but I really enjoy this movie. Its kind of dumb but I like it anyway. I think because of Virginia Madsen. Big fan.

Synopsis
