Critics Consensus

Despite all the celebrities on hand, this spin-off from a theme park attraction still feels tired and hokey.

George W Oct 23, 2018 It's cheesy, corny, predictable, and weird, but I love it! I'm totally biased and have a strong nostalgic connection to it, nevertheless it's still entertaining as heck and it has a good cast, even if they just collected a paycheck on this one. The music is the shining star of this film, John Hiatt's music, even if his voice could be an aqquired taste, is great and the animatronic work done by Jim Henson's company is good enough to suspend your disbelief and like these character stuff for what they are. "That guy looks like Elton John? Nah, Elton John's taller." See more
Poe R Jun 21, 2018 Love it ?? ???????????? Amazing fantastic Brilliant
Finn W Apr 19, 2018 I love Christopher Walken as the villain but when he's not on screen, you should just fast forward the film.
Finn W Mar 15, 2018 16 years late but I loved this movie, I'm an adult now so it's a little corny but when I was a kid this was the best.
Abraham G Aug 16, 2017 I love this movie, the music is incredible and the jokes are still funny to me even in 2017.
Harry S Aug 27, 2015 One of the cheesiest god-awful movies I've ever seen.
