Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo star in the new epic sci-fi adventure set in the year 2524, four hundred years after humans started colonizing the outer planets. Retired Military General James Ford (Willis) is called back into service after soldiers on a remote planet are attacked by a hostile alien fleet. The threat against the human race escalates into an inevitable interstellar war. General Ford teams up with General Eron Ryle (Grillo) and a team of elite soldiers in a race to stop the imminent attack before it is too late.

Critics Consensus

Let he who is without Cosmic Sin cast the first stone -- and possibly use it to rouse Bruce Willis from the slumber he seems to be in throughout this dreadful sci-fi blunder.

Audience Says

Cosmic Sin might be fine for a stream if you're really itching to watch a sci-fi thriller, but this is really just another below-average Bruce Willis action movie.

There is still a lot of visceral fun to be had in movies that dare to dream big and manipulate sci-fi conventions toward original ideas. Neither of these is what Cosmic Sin does.

Cosmic Sin is 88 minutes of convoluted nonsense that can't decide if it is a straightforward sci-fi action flick or a serious treatise on the complex and murky ethics of warfare.
