Handsome but needlessly gimmicky. Go to Full Review

A sense of laborious, futile strain comes off this phoney-baloney indie, which looks and sounds very much like an attempt to fashion a more amenable (and thereby saleable) version of Shane Carruth's puzzle pictures. Go to Full Review

Just when you think you're about to fall for this fuzzy sci-fi romance, it disappears into its own navel. Go to Full Review

Comet spends much of its runtime rowing back from an extremely aggravating opening third. With some success. Go to Full Review

It's an ambitious debut from Sam Esmail, but its exploration of a flawed relationship buckles beneath the weight of its own wry self-awareness. Go to Full Review

Han S Feb 11, 2019 Love's immaturity invades the relationship between a pair of pseudo-intellectuals, as they continually try to justify their attraction in an extended meet-cute (one of whom's neurotics seems to be auditioning hard for Woody Allen), as events jump around similar to The Story of Us approach, rendering the characters secondary to the redundant premise. One of the few romances in which the viewer would wish this old couple would just kiss for the first time already and get it over with. See more
May 20, 2018 Critics be DAMNED ....this movie is incredibly beautiful, intelligent, insightful and makes me FEEL...it brings me back to my most meaningful relationship and suffice to say i play it and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on a continuous loop when I'm hurting or missing him...thats real...tbis movie is fantastic...dont bother with the bullshit robot reviews...see it See more
Finn W Nov 19, 2017 Not everyone's cup of tea, but for those who like time and consciousness-bending movies that are intelligent, funny, and emotional, this is an A+. Surprised it hasn't gotten more recognition among those who are open to innovative, smart, and thoughtful artistic work. See more
Luke L Nov 17, 2017 A fast-paced and jumpy script. It plays on the basic human appeals of A) the quest of unattainable love and B) the mentality of "There is more to earth/life that meets the eye". 96/100 See more
Rey L Nov 15, 2017 Justin Long made me care, though.
Harry M Sep 28, 2017 What a disappointment
