Lambeau Fields, the worst coach in the history of college football, gets a final chance to redeem himself at Heartland State University. Scouring the campus for talent, Fields winds up with a ragtag team of misfits who must be whipped into shape both on and off the field. What to Know

Critics Consensus

Full of groin-centric humor and tired sports clichés, The Comebacks is poor even by parody movie standards.

Someone should tell these guys you can't score a touchdown throwing lateral passes. Go to Full Review

The fact that The Comebacks makes fun of another sports parody, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, doesn't make it a good movie, but it does say something about the pilfering, postmodern, post-ironic age of cinema we live in. Go to Full Review

Han P Oct 11, 2017 One of the worst parody flicks ever. A huge lack of laughs as they try way too hard and fall way short with each.
Luke R Mar 30, 2012 It has some good jokes in it. The cameos at the beginning are pretty funny. All in all, though, it misses at least as many times as it hits. (Why would you spoof 'Dodgeball'?! It's already a spoof!) See more
