After losing everything in a cryptocurrency scam, a ragtag team of vigilante Redditors attempt to kidnap the kingpin who screwed them over. But when the home invasion takes a turn for the worst, they become victims in a sadistic game.

Critics Consensus

Cold Wallet presents a clever and suspenseful premise with moments of intensity, yet its inconsistent tone and stilted dialogue often undermines what could have been a gripping cautionary tale.

Cold Wallet is not a great movie about the consequences of cryptocurrency scamming. It's better taken as a dark comedy instead of a serious thriller. The performances are watchable, and there's enough suspense to keep most viewers engaged in the story.
