In a sleepy Southern town, the Larkin family suffer a terrible tragedy, and they're about to endure another. Traffic lights blink an eerie warning, a ghostly visage prowls in the streets, and graves erupt from the local cemetery in an implacable march of terror. And beneath the murky surface of the river, a shifting, almost human, shape slowly takes form to seek a terrible vengeance.

...it’s a little disconcerting to see a film that aims to tell a story from within the mind-set of an active serial killer, but Cold Moon does it and at a fairly breakneck, pulpy pace…

I have an affection for swampy horror movies, and Cold Moon is certainly that, with its Southern drawl characters and use of vintage locations. It has a handful of genuinely creepy, bordering on scary, moments, and I like the use of the lead actors.

Dont know whats worse. Candy Clarks wig, her horrible overacting, the ignorant acting of the cast ? Or the 90 minutes of my life that I just wasted watching this stupid, horrible b movie. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!

Another "How did this get such a high rating on RT?". Silly violent and gory. Not very suspenseful either. The bad guy is tormented by ghosts, and you find out who the bad guy is pretty quick.

Just terrible in every way. I could not/would finish this. Camera work is full of overzealous / superfluous shots. The actors are weak (particularly the old woman, whom, even for a horror/suspense flick/ needs to tone it done a bit). Not worth your time.
