The conclusion hatched by Adkins' frequent collaborator, director Isaac Florentine, is as inevitable as the film's basic-cable destiny. Go to Full Review

It's as unsubtle as a boot to the head, but its dour-and-campy lo-fi style is far preferable to the spastic flash of its big-budget genre compatriots. Go to Full Review

Close Range is less a movie and more a feature length demo reel for star Scott Adkins. Go to Full Review

Sometimes directors and stars have a magic chemistry that can't be denied; cinematic pairings that seem destined. Now... we can add Isaac Florentine and Scott Adkins to that list. Go to Full Review

Hagrid R Aug 17, 2017 Well, I regretted putting this on after about 2 minutes. Cliché in every way, there is literally nothing memorable about this film other than the fact that it's so bad I spent a large portion of the movie supressing a laugh. The guy is an ex-soldier whose name is Colt MacReady, for crying out loud. Is this a parody of cheesy martial arts/action movies? If you're a fan of the genre, it's attempts like this that'll make you very, very glad that films like 'The Raid: Redemption' and 'The Raid 2' exist. If you haven't seen one or either of those, I cannot recommend enough that you watch them instead. See more
