Young Chicken Little (Zach Braff) throws his small town into panic by claiming the sky is falling. Unable to find the piece of "sky" that hit him, he earns the town's scorn. A year later, outcast Little tries to redeem himself by joining the baseball team, helping to win a crucial game. Later that night he is hit on the head again and discovers that the "falling sky" is actually from a UFO. Now, Little must convince the skeptical town that an alien invasion is about to happen.

Disney expends more effort in the technical presentation than in crafting an original storyline.

Animation fans will find this worth the wait, though apparently there's no story-generating software that can tap into the dark recesses of a child's psyche as cannily as Uncle Walt once did. Go to Full Review

Beyond a cheeky, twisty bit of genre-tinkering, there's more here for the under-tens than over-, but it's still charming, amusing and energetic enough to win you over. Go to Full Review

Truly there's no sense of calm to the film, which feels as if it's been assembled with the manic energy of a preschooler trying to fit square-shaped plastic toys into circle-shaped holes. Go to Full Review

Kids might see too much silence and thought as something they’d do in a timeout, so the alien frenzy is thrust too far forward. "Chicken Little" still is fun, even if you don’t quite believe all that it’s telling you. Go to Full Review

Outside of a few interesting designs, specifically with the aliens, and a couple of funny lines, Chicken Little is a disaster. Go to Full Review

Apr 24, 2019 Really dumb and blah, but overall harmless
See more

Hermione R Mar 17, 2019 As much as I like Disney animated films, this is easily one of the worst films they've ever made. Not only is it a poorly animated unfunny kids film that tries to capitalize on the success of Shrek. But it also has a terrible plot, hateful characters, and a message that doesn't flow or prove anything. It is a true mess, and I'm glad Disney doesn't make these kinds of films anymore. See more
Harry R Feb 14, 2019 Creative jokes? Nope. Likable characters? Nope? Animation that stands the test of time? Nope. Good music? Nope. So everything you think of when you think of a Disney film this is not. See more
