A competent but unmemorable B-movie that eschews any real political content in favor of simple, brutal survival melodrama with scant room for surprises in plot, character or directorial style.

[Bell's] anticipated hand-to-hand encounters are ultimately beaten into submission by an irritating atonal score that constantly drowns any trace of nuance under an onslaught of shrill electronic sludge.

The real downfall of Camino is its script, which screenwriter Daniel Noah says was written into two days-and it shows.

Explores all the anticipated story beats, but it's salvaged by the performances of Zoë Bell and Nacho Vigalondo.

Taggart's most gruelling fight comes early in the film and while it is impressive to witness, none of her physical conflicts after rise to that level. Still the film is a fun entry into this genre.

It's worth watching for Bell's performance and some well-choreographed fight sequences, but you probably won't remember it a week after seeing it.

Basically a mad psycho/slasher type movie set in a jungle. There is a vague disheveled invocation of a leftist popular uprising lurking somewhere in this film, but any political context is lost to the gratuitous violence. I think this effort might have aimed for something like Oliver Stone's Salvador, retold with a female lead. Instead we get loud & tense standard psycho-on-the-loose music with a damsel in distress lost in the rain forest.

A lackluster thriller with a rather unlikable lead. The script has the characters habitually do things that defy logic, and the plot seems to drip rather than flow.

This is better than you would ever expect, great fight /stunts performed By Zoe Bell, quite a decent back story of the main character, very strong in its own category, which is B-classy action drama
