Ron M Dec 28, 2018 Decent film. I love it! This DTV movie is criminally underrated. A good Toy Story spin-off film. It was so great and interesting to see Buzz Lightyear get his own spin-off. The voice cast is great and perfect. The voice acting is great too. This was my childhood movie. It's got charm, it's funny, and action-packed. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins deserves a much higher audience score. This underrated gem deserves at least a 71% audience score. Buzz Lightyear is a likable, amazing, and interesting protagonist and hero. Zurg is an underrated, great, charismatic, and hilarious antagonist and villain. Zurg is the greatest Disney villain ever. He is a billion times better than those overrated Disney villains like Maleficent, Ursula, the Evil Queen (from Snow White), Jafar, Captain Hook, etc. Even Agent Z is a much better villain than those overrated Disney villains I mentioned. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins is a lot like Star Wars. Both are space opera/science fiction films. The Space Rangers are like the Jedi. The Galactic Alliance is like the Rebel Alliance. The Uni-Mind is like the Death Star. Buzz Lightyear = Luke Skywalker & Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi Mira Nova = Leia Organa Commander Zeb Nebula = Han Solo Booster = Chewbacca XR = R2D2 & C3PO Warp Darkmatter = Anakin Skywalker Evil Emperor Zurg = The Emperor Agent Z = Darth Vader See more
