It is simply one of the most exciting and intelligent action films in years, probably the best good-cop film we can expect to encounter. Go to Full Review

Good scripting and excellent direction by Peter Yates maintain deliberately low-key but mounting suspense. Go to Full Review

Over 54 years after its release, Bullitt remains one of the best thrillers in cinematic history with much thanks to its historic chase sequence. Go to Full Review

Here is lean, mean perfection in the treatment of a screen standard, the detective melodrama. Steve McQueen is in top form as the convention-flouting cop involved in thwarting gangsters. Go to Full Review

Theodore M Mar 26, 2019 Thereâ(TM)s a good car chase but apart from that itâ(TM)s a pretty standard cop slash mob thriller.
Mar 7, 2019 Without doubt one of my favourite all-time movies. Car chase aside. The slow burn to eventual climax is film directing at its very best. See more
George P Mar 1, 2019 Awesome film. One of the classics.

Finn S Nov 27, 2018 One of the better movies, simply in terms of craftsmanship. The casting is spot on, the cinematography great, the performances great, the editing great and the role of Bullit perfectly played by McQueen. Okay, so the character Bullit is a little too cool to be believed, much as Clint Eastwood was in his Dirty Harry roles. Both of them tapped into a need of the public to see a strong law-and-order fiture, although McQueen then went on to make The Thomas Crowne Affair taking coolness to a ridiculous laughable extreme. Be all that as it may, Bullit is still good entertainment. See more
Hagrid W Aug 28, 2018 The movie that made me want to drive for a living. My Legendary Whitetail van is no 1968 Ford Mustang GT, but I still picture myself flying through the streets of San Francisco. Like seriously, who doesn't want to grow up to be just like Steve McQueen? An absolute classic. See more
