Stan and Ollie are private eyes who arrive in Mexico in pursuit of a larcenous lady, but they get sidetracked by the fawning attention given to Stan. It turns out he is the spitting image of a world-famous bullfighter who is represented by an amoral promoter named Hot Shot Coleman, who has several grumpy associates. After a series of misadventures, the boys are on the run, and Stan finds himself on the verge of stepping into the arena.

The funny film falters badly in the final reel, with a really dumb and not too funny ending. Go to Full Review

Poe R Sep 16, 2017 A real laurel and hardy movie from that period when they were used as B movie attractions, mostly out of character. No depressing subplot helping the young lovers fight the bad guys, just traditional stuff involving Stan and his look alike bullfighter , in Mexico. Typically , opportunity after opportunity for doing it right , fly out the window , but the whole deal hangs together pretty good. See more
