Harry W Jul 7, 2018 hopelessly dumb but funny vampire movie

Anakin R Feb 10, 2011 I was talking to one of friends the other day, stating that I'm not the biggest fan of Vampire films. They always seem to get it wrong but there are a few exceptions that I've seen, Blood Spattered Bride happens to fall into the exception category. Actually I was so impressed with this movie that I bought on Amazon after watching it once. Now this film won't be for everyone, it's very different than those silly modern day Vampire flicks, it alot slower paced and there's nudity and blood. Oh, and lesbian sex and stuff in that nature, which most Vampire flicks now days are gay but in another sense. This film has dream like quality to it, and plenty of what the fuck it going on moments? The movie is also based upon the myth of Camilla the female version of Dracula. Also yes, Tarantino got the title of one the chapters in Kill Bill vol. 1 from this movie. I would rank Blood Spattered Bride very highly among my favorite Vampiric films, maybe as high as 2nd. So give it chance, you might enjoy it. See more
