What to Know

Critics Consensus

Beerfest features some laugh-inducing gags, but is too long and the pacing too uneven to form a coherent, functioning comedy.

Beerfest is a film that appears to have been conceived on the back of a beermat and its trashy direction, nonexistent plot and dismal comic mugging would seem to suggest that preparations progressed no further. Go to Full Review

Fans of Broken Lizard's previous work will enjoy this beer-fuddled effort; for anyone else it has its moments, but is best watched through beer-goggles. Go to Full Review

While we'd probably be exaggerating to claim that Beerfest is the least funny film ever made, it's undoubtedly top ten material. Go to Full Review

Finn G Apr 1, 2019 A top 10 comedy with nuerous memorable lines. The audience sees it, but once again the movie critics couldn't see this is an instant classic. See more
Poe R Mar 12, 2019 This is a fun beer-drinking movie! Loved it!
Finn S Nov 27, 2018 The same crew responsible for Super troopers it's an enjoyable, rude and crude comedy that knows what is and makes for a good time. See more
Ron R Apr 22, 2018 Only the true beer drinkers can appreciate this artistic masterpiece!
Abraham S Dec 11, 2017 Okay, I gave it only a 3 out of 10. I watched it over the weekend and I think this might have been my 3rd viewing including when I originally saw it in the movie theaters. Now, it's a really stupid and dumb movie with a pretty decent cast. I forgot why I liked this movie despite only giving it 3 stars - it's funny and it made me laugh. Drink beer like I did this past Saturday while watching this movie. It'll get you in the mood. Cheers. See more
Leia S Apr 16, 2017 It drags in the middle when the drunks go into training to win the Beerfest competition of drinking games held annually in Germany but the rest of it has a kind of socially-unsanctioned spontaneous goofy humour that will appeal to the adolescent in those of us with one still inside us.
