Critics Consensus

Bad Samaritan delivers a handful of genre thrills -- and a stellar central performance by David Tennant -- that help offset iffy direction and a disappointingly mundane story.

The debut director Dean Devlin clearly has Hitchcockian pretensions, even if the sleazy thrills he offers lunge closer towards torture porn.

Bad Samaritan is the tale of an immigrant taking on a dangerous, out of touch, entitled, rich asshole. There's a dose of politically charged wish fulfillment in that, which makes an already fun movie even more of a blast.

I thought the movie was rather unique, tense and fun to watch. I own alot of films. This one is a keeper. Biggest problem I had with it? I dont know, its not perfect but it sure is better than 80% of most other movies, its worth a watch

If you like serial killer movies then you should check this out. It's not perfect but it will keep you watching. Acting is good and it has a professional feel to it. It's not a normal direct to DVD or streaming movie.
