There's some sharp satire early on, but the criminal partnership between the mother and boyfriend strains credulity and the movie lacks the gravitas required for its late detour into emotionally ugly drama. Go to Full Review

The cast is rounded out with likable comedians, but this fable can't decide if it's going to be deliciously bad or morally upstanding. Go to Full Review

It's one of the better movies about murder, manipulation and celebrity since Gus Van Sant's 1995 feature To Die For. Go to Full Review

Packed with talented comedy stars, this misguided misfire isn't just unfunny; it doesn't seem like it was ever supposed to be -- it wanders, lost between a serious crime drama and a biteless satire. Go to Full Review

Finn R Feb 4, 2018 A limp, lifeless indie that barely manages a third star which is only due to its bizarre, bold, and balanced casting decisions. Everyone involved is a naturally funny person but Austin Found is not going for laughs, especially after the first act, and this makes for a very awkward, sometimes frustrating film. Fortunately the actors, Linda Cardellini and Craig Robinson in particular, make it hard to stop watching. This film is not awful, just the marketing is. So long as you don't go into Austin Found with high expectations for a comedy or in general, you will be able to appreciate the strong dramatic performances and overall message which is as clear as the story is muddled. George S Jan 18, 2018 I just watched this movie on Hulu. I almost didn't because of the low RT rating, but decided to watch the first 20 minutes based on the cast. I got sucked in and end up loving this movie. It's fun and crazy! The actors are great. I don't understand why so many critics gave it mediocre reviews. I guess you can't please everyone. See more
Leia S Oct 23, 2017 Really surprised at the high user reviews. I mean it was okay, but not even a little believable and not funny enough to make up for it. See more
Ron L Sep 18, 2017 Great movie, I've seen it twice in 2 weeks. Ursula Parker is an actress that can you move your soul; Leanne (Linda Cardellini) is simply an awful, terrible woman and mother but nobody can realize how much terrible she really is, till her daughter will found the truth in the worst way. I loved this movie, nothing can justify a 20% tomatometer. See more
Poe S Sep 2, 2017 Good cast, good storyline, ending well worth the money
Draco P Aug 25, 2017 Quite enjoyable, especially real nice twists to plot line especially the last scene.
