Unless several adaptations from manga to anime SNK perfectly translates even enhance the intention of the original creators. Not for suitable for those ravel in the DCCU or MCU bull,the development of characters are solid and not looking for please new audiences.

If you can separate the Manga from the Anime then from this live action, this is not a bad standalone movie. I do feel like it captures the general numbness of the titans and the VME action is pretty cool.
