Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times Feb 23, 2018
But the singular aesthetic is gritty, beautiful and expressive, and somehow, you want to root for the love story of Eli and Anya, thanks to the charismatic performances of [Michael Patrick] Nicholson and [Chelsea] Lopez. Go to Full Review
Glenn Kenny New York Times Feb 22, 2018
"Are We Not Cats" is a well-put-together film with a lot of striking imagery, but, as you may have already inferred, something of a specialty item. Go to Full Review
Jessica Kiang Variety Feb 21, 2018
Lopez and Nicholson also appeared in Robin's short film of the same name, on which this longer version is based, and the roles hang on them comfortably, even at their most grotesque. Go to Full Review

Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Feb 23, 2018
Edgy yet elliptical, the film manages to be both creepy and charming, even though the characters aren't conventionally sympathetic. Like the film, the committed performances feel raw and authentic. Go to Full Review

Hagrid L Dec 5, 2018 I loved this movie. It was so stunning and the gore is terrific, especially for an indie film. It's a must see.
Oct 22, 2018 Never felt compelled to leave a review before wasting my time with this trash heap. I feel its my civil duty to warn people, Stay away. Cant find the words to articulate how bad this was, me and my gf googled good horror movies and mistakenly found this...we're actually mad lol. Don't waste your time. See more
Poe S Feb 27, 2018 This movie had incredible cinematography on top of a gruesomely entertaining script. Would recommend to all of my friends.
