Sometimes inventive and witty, this animated adventure into an ant-sized world is a pleasant diversion.

Hollywood animation can be boringly formulaic. And this one is all about some self-righteous moralising. Go to Full Review

Isn't clever or inventive enough to make up for its repetitive and lackluster storytelling. Go to Full Review
Anna Smith Time Out Aug 12, 2006
Kiddie-friendly toilet humour, a whiff of suspense and familiar voice actors make it passably entertaining, but there's little warmth or emotional satisfaction to be had from its cynical characters. Go to Full Review

Unspectacular, but solidly entertaining animated adventure flick. Go to Full Review

It is hard not to be troubled by a film that seems obsessed with teaching about community and friendship, but ends up preaching more about conformity and self-sacrifice. Go to Full Review

Abraham L Apr 10, 2019 Boring designs, tame message, and forgettable been done characters make it easy to get squashed and forgotten about among far superior family films. See more
Kylo S Feb 24, 2018 This is by FAR one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen, and Nic Cage's performance is hard to accept. All I can ever see in this movie is a red stump talking like Nic Cage, not whatever that character's name is. And hey, lets help the children feel more "adult" by giving the ants fake curse words! CRAZNOKS! Not a single aspect of this movie works, no jokes hit, and it is beyond stupid. I only give it 2 stars because I have seen worse sadly. See more
Leia W Jan 18, 2018 The And bully doesn't hold up to well. It's mediocre at best with a generic story and generic visuals.
Finn W Oct 25, 2017 I like this movie because it's really good movie and it's make me feel witty.
Poe L Jul 30, 2017 It was well executid for having a weird story.
Leia M Feb 20, 2017 [The] animation quality was ok, but the models were abysmal and the story had been done before. I still enjoyed the film because of some the unique concepts, though. See more
