While "Alright Now" threatens to spin off its foundations with all of its crazy, loose energy, the central relationship keeps the story on track.

Cobie Smulders is widely miscast as a fallen musician that wants to resurrect her career, in a so-called uplifting story that feels messy made and even worst told from her perspective. Don't waste your time on this one !
