So-so sequel has mild cartoon action, some potty humor. Go to Full Review

Hagrid W Oct 24, 2017 Practically a non existent plot line with very little character depth but could partially amusing to kids.
Luke S Apr 25, 2017 good children's tale in the series, but, I thought the animation was poor
Ron P May 15, 2016 You know, animation by nature often asks us to suspend disbelief and accept the implausible, or even the impossible - but even in doing so, there are rules and guidelines that are set throughout, especially in franchises, and often added on to and modified as the franchise goes on and introduces more information, but all still within a set of laws defining what is plausible in the world. The problem here isn't so much that the premise is stupid (which it is), or that it's bad (which it also is), it's that even within itself, nothing about it is plausible. Granted, this can be done right in a story (but it isn't here), so I'm just stuck wondering how it could possibly have got worse since the last one was 50% clip show, but there you have it. Unexplained dinosaur ghosts and magical hypnotic fountains, all without bothering with explaining why any of it is happening, or how it possibly could. I could live with ghost wolves haunting forests, because that actually added to the plot and didn't seem out of place for the thematic elements of that particular film, but when the hell did we suddenly allow for... I don't even know what this is. Dinosaurs crossing the black hole threshold and waking up millions of years later? Talking ghosts when previously ghosts could not talk? I don't even know, it's not like anyone bothered to even try to write an explanation for why the hell this entire story happened. I think I should've given up a while ago with these bloody sequels... well, at least after Saw Tooth Cave. Five sequels and that was the only decent one, I must be a complete sucker for punishment. At least the next one, The Big Fureeze, doesn't sound like total nonsensical bullshit the way this one was... crap, I guess that means I'm watching that, despite this. Also, for fuck sakes, do you really not have anything other than that one "sexy sassy Kate" vector for the covers? Holy shit. If ever there was an indication that nobody is bothering, there's proof. I suppose the only good things I can say is that the animation didn't really make me want to tear my eyes out, and at least it had a good message about how you should leave nature be or risk pissing it off... but I can't help but feel that such a message really deserved a much better handling than... an angry T-rex black hole ghost(??). I've wasted far too much analytical power on this... thing. But maybe not, maybe something I said here will influence someone for the better as a storyteller? Probably not. Screw it, I'm done. God help us all for #7. See more
