Rey R Feb 9, 2019 A classic that was great to re watch after so may years.

Jan 26, 2019 The best thrilling movie ever made!

George R Jan 5, 2019 22 years later this is still one of my favorite non-franchised action films of all time. It's 'Die Hard' on a plane with politicians and honestly - who doesn't want that? Gary Oldman is one of the great movie villains here and Harrison Ford makes for the 2nd greatest fictional president in history following Martin Sheen on 'The West Wing' of course. But really just need to bask in the glory of the scene where the President has to rummage through everyone's luggage to find a single cell phone that he must use only after consulting the instruction manual. God bless the 90s. See more

Leia L Nov 1, 2018 What is Air Force One about? A military partnership between the United States and Russia has resulted in the capture of the dangerous and fanatical General Alexander Radek the self-appointed military dictator of Khazakstan. A group of terrorists, led by the psychotic Ivan Korshunov (Gary Oldman), uses an elaborate ruse to get on board Air Force One for a trans-Atlantic trip from Moscow to Washington D.C. Once the plane is in the sky, Korshunov (with a little inside help) takes over. The President apparently escapes in an emergency pod, but, in reality, he's hiding out in the luggage compartment, ready to do battle single-handedly with the six bad guys, who are holding fifty passengers at gun point, including his wife (Wendy Crewson) and 12-year old daughter. This is a competent summer blockbuster made when Ford was still believable as the ass kicking all American male. See more

Theodore L Jun 13, 2018 Harrison Ford shines as a butt-kicking president in this exciting, fast paced thriller. This movie does offer several strengths. First, Harrison Ford on screen with a terrifying villain played by Gary Oldman, nuff said there. Second, This film always has you gripping your chair and sitting on the edge of your seat as you watch Harrison Ford do Harrison Ford things with EXTREMELY high stakes, and on a national scale this movie makes sure you feel the tension of those stakes. However, where this movie falls flat is making one feel the tensions and stakes personally for the President and his family. Do they try to sell me family tension and try to make me care for his family's well being? Sure, and it works to a degree, but i simply don't feel the same attraction to them as i do with the governmental and political stakes. This happens because instead of interweaving the family connection more through the film, they slap a small scene of the family together at the beginning and expect me to care when their lives are in danger at the end. This film sacrifices personal connection for thrills and tension, and because of that this film works as a fun thrill ride with a terrifying villain and nothing more. See more
