1.5/4
It's full of awkward smiles and jumpy pacing, as if everyone is in a hurry to wrap up and go home. Go to Full Review

Ultimately, it's a cute enough watch. Just not the party we expected it to be. Go to Full Review
Tatat Bunnag Bangkok Post Sep 17, 2021
Despite being very predictable, the drama and a fair share of heartwarming elements were handled pretty well. Go to Full Review
Jennifer Green Common Sense Media Sep 17, 2021

This supernatural dramedy is predictable, but its two charismatic stars keep it from suffering as clumsy a death as its main character. Go to Full Review
Allen Adams The Maine Edge Sep 12, 2021

Afterlife of the Party isn't particularly funny or emotionally engaging...an empty vessel, a placeholder of a film that feels made up to be a punchline in a TV show about the entertainment industry. Only this is sadly, inexplicably real. Go to Full Review
Jason Fraley WTOP (Washington, D.C.) Sep 10, 2021
2.5/5
It suffers from obvious exposition from the first line: "It's an impromptu dance party with my best friend since first grade!" "Love you, my bestie since we were six!" No one would say this. Friendship is implied. Go to Full Review
