When its latest mission leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the U.S., an elite team of Navy SEALs sets out on a global manhunt. As the men of Bandito Platoon race to stop an attack that could kill or maim thousands of American civilians, they must balance their commitment to their duty and family back home. It's undeniably reverent of the real-life heroes in its cast, but Act of Valor lets them down with a clichéd script, stilted acting, and a jingoistic attitude that ignores the complexities of war.

I guess they had to be realistic in order to make up for the dialogue, the acting, the special effects, the mawkishness, the closeted homoeroticism, the jingoism...

Shadowing real-life SEALs as they re-enact some of the most stunning combat sequences ever put to film, this is the closest a film has ever got to emulating a Call of Duty game.

The movie felt very realistic, and the cameras made you feel part of the action. There are first person perspective shots, similar to video games. There was lots of action and variety of tactics used. I enjoyed the film, and the fact these were real navy seals, added to the character of movie.

Acto de valor es un repetitivo film de Guerra, que se ahoga en agrandar y sobre imponer a sus protagonistas para crear interes,pero por mucho este film deja de lado el interes de su historia y roba todo el encanto de su guion en cliches aburridos y flojos.

Not the best acting but the actors (gasp) are not "actors!" They're professional special teams operators so you're going to see some awesome action by REAL men who do this kind of thing instead of actors who are shown how to fake it by guys like these. Enjoy it with popcorn!

Real active U.S. Navy Seals. Coming into this movie you can't expect Oscar nominating acting but instead heart felt and action packed scenes. Thank you to all the men and women who put there life's on the line for this country and our protection.

Oscar Tango Tango (over the top) action war movie with bad acting and lots of repetition. Like watching a fps videogame. Fell asleep before the end.
