The film is undeniably energetic, with a lot of good lines written by Shores, but it descends into obvious preachiness, and from this view, the unrelenting wackiness becomes overwhelming.

As broad as the side of a barn but much more amusing.

Delivers much of the same brand of raucous, gay-themed humor that propelled its predecessor to surprising success.

Although far from the sordid affair the title suggests, this joyously camp film is a definite guilty pleasure that will be a flat out triumph to returning fans- and an enjoyably trashy time for newcomers to the franchise.

It has some funny stuff in it, but it is so bad that these reviews are mind blowing....critics and audience?

MAY CONTAIN A SPOILER OR TWO..... I was kind of dreading watching this movie. I am a HUGE fan of Olivia Newton-John and she wasn't in this one for the first time. The original cast is few and they are introducing some strange, new characters. As a fan of the original movie and series, I was skeptical.... WOW, was I suprised! I even agreed and identified with a serial killer (and was actually sad at his closier). This movie is an awesome sequel and deserves a watch. By the way, if you haven't seen Sordid Lives yet, do yourself a favor and give it a watch. It is a black comedy about white trash. As much as I will always love Olivia, this movie may surpass the original (sorry Olivia, I missed you and your music in this one). This is a full story that didn't need every single star to tell an amazing story. Very well done.

Que pelicula mas divertida y con buenas intenciones. La historia no es nada nuevo pero la actuacion hace que sobresalga. Vale la pena verla.

Enough back story monologues to choke Tammy Wynette.

this movie captures small town beehives & hyper layered blue eye shadow and religious hypocrisy nailed on the head. it starts out slow, the viewer should be focused as the production values (done on a low budget ? ) the audio needs enhanced to hear and see all the satyrical comic gems. please tell your friends and family to watch.
