Turtly disappointing, turtly sanctimonious in its eco message, and turtly derived from Finding Nemo. Go to Full Review

The color palette and the movement of the characters also serve as an attraction for the little ones, who are undoubtedly destined for The Adventures of Sammy, but their companions can also enjoy it. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Annoyingly cute is one way to describe this film; sickly sweet is another. Go to Full Review

far too reminiscent of films that have gone before it and suffers from being overly didactic about its environmental themes. Go to Full Review

Poe W Aug 17, 2018 First of all, I never heard of this movie. It was recently screened for kids at Wisconsin in a local theater, so I had zero expectations when waling through the film. After, I thought it was the most disappointing movie ever, or maybe the worst. The premise is actually interesting, it a mix-up of coming-of-age drama and romance stuff with a bit of environmentalist stuff. But after watching, I thought it was poorly executed. It's just bogged down by its recycled plot, cheesy dialogue, and a bland animation that's mostly seen on your Netflix Kids watchlist. For younger audiences, they'll enjoy it, but us adults, may wanna rethink about your money. And for those peeps who's looking for a decent environment flick, watch An Inconvenient Truth. See more
George M Mar 19, 2018 A few long for the kids, but fun movie
Hagrid P Mar 16, 2018 It's not the best but it's quite funny
Harry S Jul 28, 2017 I feel like I'm running out of things to do with my life. Seriously, I need better things to do with my boring life. I should go outside more often. A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures is a cute cartoon. It boasts an environmentally friendly message and a good amount of educational value for children. Sadly, some amiability can't save the film from a lack of originality, animation that, more often than not, looks like it hasn't finished rendering and the lack of the charm that made Finding Nemo, the movie that inspired it, such a great animated film. Yes, it often derives from Pixar. It'll keep children entertained and educated at the same time but for me, it felt a lot longer than it actually was. Personally, if I were asked to watch an animated film with thought-provoking messages about the environment, I'd definitely choose either Finding Nemo, its sequel Finding Dory or WALL-E over this one. Stick with the aforementioned Pixar movie. You know which one. This one kinda sucks. Sorry to break it to you like that. See more
