Just a bad low-budget 3D B-movie creature sci-fi adventure film, but (oy vez) with deadly spiders. Go to Full Review

Given the choice of being stuck in a tomb with spiders for 90 minutes or watching Guardians of the Tomb, I'd choose the tomb. Go to Full Review

For me, this film sucked. Big time. Kelsey Grammer's cheeky contribution to this silly, monotonous movie is one of those debt reduction efforts that actors use to pay off mortgages - for him or one of his seven children - and alimony expenses. Go to Full Review

The more one seriously considers the film, the more slapdash and poorly executed it becomes. Go to Full Review

It's not awful as far as B movies go, but it never quite manages to become entertaining enough to warrant a recommendation either. Go to Full Review

Hagrid R Sep 25, 2018 A movie with really good intentions. It is clearly that they want to do too much with the movie and to have maybe too many things: CGI, production, art, sets, interesting script, international cast, sexy bad ass main asian beauty protagonist, good humor guy, chinese macho man, bad ass american hero, good villains, terror, social issues with a little girl who lost her family, cultural difference and aspect, the people from the 2 cultures working together, Mc Guffins, action and beyond. But, the thing goes wrong when someone decided that the SPIDERS should be the MAIN VILLAIN (is NOT an spoilers is pretty clear from the beginning of the movie). I felt like someone likes to much the Mummy (1999) and think that they should do the same, but instead of used beetles they go ahead with spiders. But in the Mummy the main villain is clearly Imhothep, with who you simpatize because he is in love. In this movie, which the spiders have more screen time that the humans, of who suppose to be the villain of course your movie goes wrong. Completely wrong. I THINK THEY CAN FIXED it with an a good editor to remove the King spider discussions with his servants, and start with the beautiful sequence in the desert. It has a lot of potential actually, but maybe nobody will read this. A pity because actually it have a lot of potential to be a good movie. See more
Poe S Aug 25, 2018 I've honestly seen worse movies. 5 Stars not because it was great, but to balance out the bad scores. If you watch this at home or on cable (and you're really bored) it's an alright movie. Not $15 movie ticket worthy for sure. But alright. Graphics are good, story is alright. But like everyone else said acting and script needed a lot of work. Lots of plot holes and just lazy junk. BUT alright. See more
Ron S Aug 5, 2018 Horrible acting and plot
Draco W Jul 31, 2018 There are neither guardians nor "7", just another cave-movie that challenges the stupidity of "Arachnophobia " (1990). (Mauro Lanari) See more
Ron W Jul 20, 2018 It felt like i was watching indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull. if kelsey was replaced with harrison ford we would have another indiana jones movie. See more
Finn S Jul 14, 2018 OK-ish adventure flick of a Chinese-Australian team mission in the Gobi desert to an undiscovered underground palace of the Emperor. One team member Jia (Bingbing Li) is searching for her lost brother (Chun Wu), while Mason (Grammar) is looking for some elixir of life. A lot of plot holes and nonsense, very much feeling like a walk through a Disney attraction. The spider graphics are pretty good, but not enough to save this film from being just ok. See more
