Derivative, convoluted and resolutely unscary. Go to Full Review

As a game Open Graves is passable enough for one roll of the dice but definitely not a game with any replay value. Go to Full Review

Anakin W Mar 27, 2017 Eliza Dushku drew me to this supernatural horror movie (my favorite genre too). The story is very simple: bored teems are given a board game where the winner gets his dream come true. Turns out the losers will die like the card reads when they land on a spot called Open Graves. The two players who don't lose (they give up playing) set out to save their remaining friends from terrible ends. The game is stupid, the ending is predictable, and the villain is easy to figure out. Effects are okay. Overall, I can't recommend it. See more
