Only thing worse than a bad horror film, is a horror film that's not scary. Go to Full Review

Harry S Apr 6, 2019 If you want to read the review I wrote for this, go to letterboxd.com/HankIsDead514. I can no longer post long reviews on here and I'm not writing two separate reviews for the same movie. See more
Feb 14, 2019 I would vote no stars if I could. One of the worst movies ive ever seen. My fiancee agrees.
Anakin R Oct 14, 2018 There is no way I could ever take a film about an evil elevator seriously. I just can't. Most horror films that try to make technology the antagonists are tough to swallow for me. However, there is a certain charm to "Down" (aka "The Shaft") that makes it enjoyable to watch. Granted, it's the "so bad it's good" charm but that doesn't negate its entertainment value. The performances are super over-the-top and the special effects are goofy looking but it comes together in a special blend that makes it very amusing to experience. The only genuine complaint I have is the fact it feels way too long and sometimes tries to take itself way too seriously but, overall, it's a silly little feature that is fun to riff on and laugh at. Hello! My name is Rev. Ron and if you feel like checking out more of my reviews (including a more in-depth look at "The Shaft") you can visit my blog at RevRonMovies.BlogSpot.com. Also, if the mood strikes, you can follow me on Twitter (@RevRonster). Thanks! See more
Hagrid P Jul 3, 2018 Don't even bother watching this movie it's a pile of hot NYC trash. Worst part is the unneeded death of a service golden retriever; whoever wrote this piece of garbage should be humiliated. See more
Ron W Jun 23, 2018 This is a horrible movie. Any movie where you watch a dog get hanged is a horrible movie.
