There is a chase sequence between Hallam and Bonham through the streets of Portland that begins promisingly enough, but soon becomes so ungainly I had no idea what was up and where was down.

This movie makes zero sense. The timeline, narrative, and characters are baffling. I watched this largely for Del Toro, who does fair (I guess) for what he had to work with, but there is nothing going on here that needed to be committed to film.

The Hunted is a boring film. It is about FBI deep-woods tracker who captures a trained assassin who has made a sport of hunting humans. Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro give terrible performances. The script is badly written. William Friedkin did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

Essentially a remake of Rambo - First Blood. Though, why anyone besides a Hollywood-tyoe would think an old Tommy Lee Jones could compete with, much less defeat a Del Toro at the peak of his manhood is beyond me. Exciting, but not cannot even tempt us to suspend our disbelief, which would have made this much better

Forget what the critics, this movie is entertaining from start to finish, and along with some smart acting from the two leads: Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro, along with some smart writing from the Griffiths brothers and directing by William Friedkin.
