Theodore L Mar 11, 2017 Another 1980s Charles Band Empire Pictures/Wizard Video camp epic. This one, although still certainly campy, has a bit of a nastier edge to the story which focuses on various beautiful Manhattan women (a model, a nurse, an actress, a bag lady [okay, not all of them were beautiful]) being raped by an alien creature. The film features no stars and was directed by Tim Kincaid, who after looking on IMDB, started his career directing 70s gay porn as Joe Gage, had a brief run in the 80s directing low budget horror and science fiction films, and since then returned to his Joe Gage porn director roots to this very day. Although I'd like to think of him as the tragic character Burt Reynolds played in "Boogie Nights," I'm sure I'd just be romanticizing a hack director. For the most part, this film was basically a series of unconnected vignettes of women disrobing to exercise, to shower, or whatever, and then being attached by the alien. The only reason to watch this film is for camp nostalgia and this film does deliver plenty. Outside of that, there's really nothing to recommend about this film. See more
