The picture itself is so nonsensical you don't understand why anyone would actually make it. Go to Full Review

Visual lushness is almost the only indication that the movie was directed by the same Bruce Beresford who made Breaker Morant and Driving Miss Daisy. Go to Full Review

The result has a drawback common to such movies: too much screen time devoted to the conceit when anyone who has seen the coming-attractions trailer knows it already. Go to Full Review

'Double Jeopardy' just might be the magnum opus of the Ashley Judd Thriller™, a genre that deserves its own classification. Go to Full Review

Who doesn't love a 90s female-fronted action thriller? Judd completely sells Libby's transformation in this wannabe The Fugitive sequel. While some of the politics of Lee Jones' character are icky, it's very satisfying seeing Greenwood get his comeuppance Go to Full Review

Feb 17, 2019 Reading these reviews many years after the movie as it on TV today 2019/ feb.. interesting as I remember the movie very well and I gave a hard time remembering what I had for lunch yesterday.. my point, sometimes things seam uneventful at the time but stay printed in the mind .. this movie did for me after all these years. I even remembered the plot. Omg See more
Anakin W Feb 15, 2019 Fun revenge film which offers something a little different.
Hermione M Jan 20, 2019 Just saw this movie tonight in 2019 for the first time. For the type of movie it was it was suspenseful. The acting by all was quite good. Ashley Judd was wonderful in it. Tommy Lee Jones was as well. If you are looking for something deep and subtle you chose the wrong movie. See more
Finn W Sep 18, 2018 Legally speaking, DOUBLE JEOPARDY means that a movie can't be knocked twice for the same failing-all the better, because I wouldn't want to watch it again. With fine performances bolstering a lackluster, perfunctory script, the movie ends up shifting from one complication to the next without building suspense or narrative tension, like it's just killing time, but without getting away with it. Luke G Jul 6, 2018 I still love this movie. Thriller, great acting, great story.
Kylo M Mar 24, 2018 Why not title this film: 'Sorry I killed your dad'? After all, she kills her kid's dad at the end. Funny how the kid doesn't seem to mind. Ashley Judd looks too good to have been in prison for six years (but then again this is Hollywood). Well acted movie; Tommy Lee Jones and Bruce Greenwood are well cast. See more
