Following the arrest of her mother, Ramona (Amanda Plummer), young Vanessa Lutz (Reese Witherspoon) decides to go in search of her estranged grandmother. On the way, she is given a ride by school counselor Bob Wolverton (Kiefer Sutherland). During the journey, Lutz begins to realize that Bob is the notorious I-5 Killer and manages to escape by shooting him several times. Wounded but still very much alive, Bob pursues Lutz across the state in this modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood.

Reese is amazing with her energy, spunk and superb acting! Great plot! The movie immediately grabbed my attention and kept it there to the very last minute. Highly recommend this movie.

this is one of the most twisted entertaining retelling of a classic fairy-tail i watched this when it first was released and laughed my ass of all the way through even thought the film deals with such real life shitty things. BEST LINE IN A FILM ...WHOS BEEN BEAT WITH THE UGLY STICK....LMAO

Exceptionally sleazy movie about an angry girl who refuses to bow down to the people she meets and to the poor outcomes that life gives her. This was Reese Witherspoon before she became Hollywood's girl next door actress. What a performance. One of my all time favorite movies.

If you like black comedies and movies that are just weird as fuck, in a great way of course ;) This is it. Reese and Kiefer's acting skills are great and seeing these two in this setting is something else.. haha a sight to see that's for sure. So weird, dark twisted and fucking HILARIOUS. Freeway II very similar as well, just a bit more dark and not as comedic

Synopsis
