[The film is] all lovingly done - there are gorgeous close-ups of the sheep that even the Michelle Pfeiffers of the world might envy. Go to Full Review

...anyone with a low cuteness threshold might feel inclined to give Babe the widest possible berth. This would be a mistake, since the film is funny, engaging and almost entirely uncloying. Go to Full Review

Kylo P Apr 3, 2019 With a great combination of well-trained animals and puppets with CG muzzle replacement, great voice acting and a great heart to go with the occasionally poignant moment - "I want my mom" :'( and sold puppies, "Sure am glad there are invisible ninjas cutting up onions and I'm totally not crying because the mother dog has to let go of her puppies even though she knew it was coming" - Babe is a timeless classic from the same writer and producer who directed a quartet of post-apocalyptic Australian action flicks. Finn S Mar 14, 2019 Babe is as heart-warming, fun, and cute as you can expect in this type of movie. It also helps that the special effects are still impressive today. I think it's much more mature than most people give it credit for, I think Babe is a must see family film. See more
Jan 27, 2019 The best, GREATEST inspiring fantasy comedy movie ever made! With the best movie character ever portrayed: Christine Cavanaugh as the voice of Babe! And the best movie quote ever spoken: "That'll do, pig. That'll do." See more
Harry S Nov 4, 2018 This movie exceeded my expectations. Loved James Cromwell as the lead and the movie was delightful throughout. Yes, "That'll do pig". I would affectionately compare it to Wallace & Gromit in its sweet charm. See more
Hermione R Nov 1, 2018 At first glance, a movie about the adventures of a piglet who thinks he's a sheepdog doesn't appear to be the perfect entertainment recipe for those beyond puberty. However, through a mixture of imaginative storytelling, impressive animatronics, and irresistible cuteness, Babe casts a spell over all viewers -- young, old, or somewhere in between. The premise is simple: Babe is a small pig abducted from the pork penitentiary, he ends up as the lone representative of his kind on the property of Farmer Hoggett a kindly man of few words who knows far more about sheep than pigs. On the farm, Babe makes a few enemies, but many more friends, including a talkative duck who wants to be a rooster and a dog willing to play the role of substitute mother. This is a delightful movie that will warm everyone's heart. See more
