High school friends Pee Wee (Dan Monahan), Tommy (Wyatt Knight), Billy (Mark Herrier) and Mickey (Roger Wilson) want to lose their virginity. But when they're kicked out of a strip club after the owner, Porky (Chuck Mitchell), takes their money, they plot revenge. While they try to get back at him, they deal with other teen troubles, including Pee Wee's worries that his "equipment" is shrinking, their sexually opinionated gym teacher (Kim Cattrall) and a spy hole in the girl's locker room.

Critics Consensus

Gleeful in its misogyny and celebratory of bad behavior, Porky's is an intermittently funny farce that will leave audiences feeling in need of a shower.

A sequel to this ghastly comedy is already in production. What a shame.

The jokes are so unremittingly cheap, so purely predictable, that "Porky's" is less shocking or amusing than boring.

Because of the high quality of Decree and other Clark films, most of us expected Porky's to be a lot better than it is.

Nudity, sex jokes, rivalry, and all sorts of off-color humor find their way into the film, but camaraderie, friendship, and teamwork are also relevant concepts.

If you grew up a teenager in the 80's like I did then Porky's is a nostalgic part of your life and you are likely to give it a higher score. Grabbing a copy of this, loading up on Scooby Snacks, stolen beer and whatever else, then sneaking into a mates house to watch this when their parents were out epitomised my youth. It's not aged, I just don't think the later generations understand the difference in the eras of growing up in the 80's to today. These taboos are all in the film. It's whether you chose understand that life was so different nearly 40 years ago. I love Porky's but understand if you don't.

It's definitely one of the most overrated films of all time. Loses half a star for falling below expectations.
