107 minutes of witless nonsense, populated by performers who would look more at home in after-school specials, and filmmakers who ought to have been left stranded on the unemployment line. Go to Full Review

The Initiation is the worst kind of bad movie in that it often seems like two entirely different bad movies mashed together into one ungainly chore. Go to Full Review

Abraham W May 7, 2017 Better than average slasher ripoff.
Kylo R Mar 12, 2017 Typical 80's slasher movie and it was pretty good.
Poe W Mar 11, 2017 It tries to be a psychological mystery and a routine slasher at the same time, and it ends up failing at both. Tension is sparse, the plot is unfocused, and the kills aren't anything special. It is fairly entertaining to see how silly the story gets, and the twist is appropriately campy. This one's for slasher completists only. See more
Anakin L Jan 28, 2017 Your standard 80's slasher film. The Initiation wasn't aiming to break any ground, but it does deliver on what horror fans want and expect from a decent slasher flick, blood and boobs. See more
