What...the...fuck. Behold 2 hours of pointless scenes & dialogue. I Kept thinking "what the fuck!" to myself throughout the entire movie. What was the point of that scene, why did he say that, why did he do this, what is the purpose of this. For example, the scene where they go to the train station to buy a ticket, but then decide not to, so, end of scene. What...the...fuck. And so on ad nauseam. I am completely sure that if Cassavetes hadn't directed this crap it would just be an obscure curiosity heard of by very few people. What a waste of film. You can rescue Gena Rowland's character and to some very limited extent the kid's, but more than anything the fact that it inspired a real movie like The Professional. Watch that instead of this nonsense.
