Degenerate Monty Capuletti is perfectly content spending his life drinking, smoking and gambling with his other layabout buddies. His wealthy mother-in-law, Mrs. Monahan, has long disapproved of Monty's irresponsible behavior, but when she dies she leaves him $10 million in her will. It's not what you'd call a classic or a class comedy act, but it has the kick of an embryonic pop phenomenon.

If you are not a Dangerfield fan, of course, probably nothing on earth could induce you to go to this movie. The great Dangerfield movie, however, has still to be made. This one doesn't get quite enough respect.

This movie is for the real movie lovers, not stuffy critics. Fun and full of laughs. Dangerfield is hilarious. Comedies are not meant to be epic or that so-called perfect film from criterion, it's a time to sit back, relax and enjoy the moments, and Dangerfield provides plenty of them.

Hilarious movie, Fine example of North American cult cinema. With Dangerfield you can expect 0 PC points and with that a good laugh.

4/12/2017: A disappointing movie. A good cast, but not funny at all.
