As with many of the era’s cartoonish romantic comedies – including ones starring Monroe – the formula is entirely predictable. Go to Full Review

Jan 27, 2019 The best comedy romance movie ever made! With the best movie song ever sung (?): That Old Black Magic!
Leia S Jun 19, 2018 I'm surprised that this film still holds such affection for some. I've been interested in seeing it for awhile so I finally sat down and watched it. What a disappointment. The entire premise is shockingly contrived. The only reason that this couple should be together is because the screenplay says so. Are we really expected to believe that true love found them given the manipulation and bullying and even criminality that went into it? As the film goes on it does improve a bit. The downright annoying performances from Marilyn Monroe and Don Murray do mellow a bit and the tone gets less frantic...but, sorry, not enough to save this from the damage that has already been done.
