After his father, an assassin, is brutally murdered, Nick Gant vows revenge on Division, the covert government agency that dabbles in psychic warfare and experimental drugs. Hiding in Hong Kong's underworld, Nick assembles a band of rogue psychics dedicated to destroying Division. Together with Cassie, a teenage clairvoyant, Nick goes in search of a missing girl and a stolen suitcase that could be the key to accomplishing their mutual goal.

This movie was terrible. One of the worst comic book movies ever made. It was dull, boring, convoluted, and kind of confusing. The characters were uninteresting. The plot was generic. It's a really forgettable film. The cast was at least great.

I really enjoyed seeing this movie in theaters when it came out. I think it had great potential once it introduced the basic premise, it could have gotten better if given the chance for a sequel. Only complaint i'd have is Dakota Fanning seeming like the kid trying to break out of her child star look. It's not super distracting but it's there.

I don't understand why the critics hated it so much. I mean yeah there are holes big enough to drive a truck through but if you have the sense to ignore that and take it for what it is, it's a fun superhero movie.
