Blending elements of horror and comedy, the film takes audiences on a surreal journey that, a few degrees to the right, could have turned into a Boots Riley film. Pattinson’s performance is one of the year's best.

Not everyone will have the patience to wait for the reveals before passing judgment. Regardless, Tom Cruise reminds us he can still deliver a first-rate performance that highlights his skills as an accomplished actor. He's brilliant.

Paige Evans shines in the final act as her character becomes the story’s VIP as the film ventures into 70s horror territory. Expect a nice jolt during the finale.

Watching this new masterpiece of horror is, at times, like chilling while watching a friend play a third-person perspective shooter. Blood-soaked fun from start to finish.

I enjoyed Abdul-Mateen’s solid performance, though the transformation could have happened a bit sooner in the film. I wish Wahlberg had played Scarpa without the prosthetics. Less violence and a bit more dialogue would have gone a long way.

At times fascinating as the three passengers discover the rules of this road trip from hell. You won't get many answers, but you will get terrific performances.

It’s twisted, bloody fun. A gift from the Movie Gods to a parent forced to watch Barney with the kids. Thank you.

There are cameos by a plethora of Looney Tunes characters, and the 2-D animation is refreshing and blends seamlessly with the live action. The humor could have been a bit more satirical, but it's fun for all ages.

Sessa captures Bourdain’s sardonic wit, and his performance hints at the evolution of the Anthony Bourdain we know from his writing and shows: a person who used self-deprecating humor to mock his flaws and career.

Filled with offbeat characters, gross-out humor, and plenty of Yo Mamma jokes, Macon Blair’s dark chaotic comedy is proof that zero brain cells equal one hundred percent laughs.

I enjoyed the performances, especially Elordi’s gentle giant, and the story’s reflective nature. More action than the novel, but less than Ridley Scott fans are accustomed to. Still, you can't call the film predictable.

Ozzy Osbourne once said, "I’m into rock ‘n’ roll because rock ‘n’ roll, to me, means freedom." The Sunset Marquis gave these artists the freedom to be themselves in a conducive environment that became a rock ‘n’ roll sanctuary.

The ‘90s stoner comedy is back, so take a rip and let the hijinks grab ya’ by the boo-boo. More Alex Cox vibes than Cheech & Chong.

A blood-soaked queer awakening that pays homage to 80s slashers while exploring psychosexual liberation. Terrific performances by Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder. Best horror film of the year.

As the film progresses, you realize that this story is not about the AI child at all. It’s a character study of a grieving couple. I did enjoy the final act and the performances by Haruka Ayase and Daigo Yamamoto.

Gregg Araki’s twelfth feature film brings back the boundary-pushing 80s sex comedy. Wilde and Hoffman are terrific in the edgy romcom with a great soundtrack. There's a message here for Gen Z.
