I can’t think of a single thing that I actually enjoyed about Bloodshot... The combination of shoddy plotting, overdone tropes, the male gaze, bad acting, and horrendous CGI made this film one of the worst things I have had to see with my own two eyes.

I loved the action scenes in Wonder Woman, but the energy was missing in this film.. The opening scene... had the best action and pacing of the entire film, which is strange to me. Where was the raw emotion and power of the “No Man’s Land” scene?

The family dynamic, particularly between Natasha and Yelena, was so much fun. I thought the action was some of the best in the MCU. There was something visceral about the hand-to-hand combat — I could feel the punches through the screen.

Crush has fully-fleshed out characters who are queer, but are also so much more... They’re trying to realise their dreams. All this is wrapped into one neat, cute, and funny story that will leave you feeling optimistic about the world we live in.

I did have fun and there was plenty of entertainment to be had. But the characters don’t make sense. The female characters are walking tropes. The camp was dialed up way too high... there are far too many things I wish it had done better.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever offers fans of Chadwick Boseman catharsis in a way that is completely unique to the MCU... Black Panther: Wakanda Forever exceeded expectations in terms of storytelling, characterizations and sheer moments of awe.

All You See is a visually arresting film. Whether it’s the protagonists in the stark concrete rooms, projections of their former lives, shots of Holland from above, everything in this film is gorgeous to look at, and relevant to the stories being shared.

There’s a lot that happens in Allihopa, some of it wonderful and happy, some of it disturbing and quite sad. I was genuinely moved by the life stories of the players and how they’ve impacted the people and community around them.

Cynara has a tight narrative and excellent pacing, as well as a great deal of suspense during the courtroom scenes where Lockyer makes his case for getting Cindy a new trial. Barsoum clearly has a deft hand when portraying tough subjects...

I am glad I watched Angel Applicant... But it is a hard watch, it’s so raw, which is what the film aims to achieve, but the hope the blurb promised never really materialized, and I wish I had been prepared for that.

I am glad I watched NATHAN-ism... I do believe we need to document the experiences of people who were at these historical events—but we also need to investigate and verify the stories before we tell them.

I got all the Miles I wanted. I got more Gwen, which I really needed. I got to listen to Oscar Isaac and Daniel Kaluuya’s sexy, silky voices... I got an ending that had me holding my breath and has me absolutely desperate for the next instalment.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny had a good story. I didn’t once feel that the pace was lagging or that there was unnecessary exposition. Every conversation was meaningful, or at least funny, and helped progress the characters forward.

Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie was a startlingly enjoyable and uplifting film. Fox’s charm and humour are undeniable, and Guggenheim’s techniques for bringing the past to life are remarkable. Aptly, I feel like I’ve travelled back in time with this film.

A tight cinematic experience, and I do think I missed out by not seeing it on the big screen. The gorgeous Amazon and the wildlife it houses would have been a sight in the theatre. And while the visuals are beautiful, they are also powerful.

I left this film feeling very, very happy. The story is simple to follow and knows where to focus—the three protagonists with amazing chemistry who get to grow, learn from each other, resolve personal issues, and have a ton of fun during the ride.

Ehrenreich puts in a great performance, the story itself was well-paced and intriguing, and the editing by Joe Peeler moved the story along very well. I’m glad I got to see it.

I’m glad I watched Re: Uniting. It’s not a perfect film, suffering from some first-time director blues but I loved the concept, the performances, and the incredible chemistry between the actors. And of course, those amazing lake views.

I’m glad I got the chance to see it. Though labelled as ‘feel-good’, this film is more than that. It’s a reminder of how far women’s sports has come, and how much bigotry we’ve had to wade through to get here.
