Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Jul 31, 2026 3/5 Pinocchio Unstrung is the first time this universe feels like it's fully embracing the silly fun that is inherent to the concept. It doesn't shy away from nasty gore but you'll have a crooked smile throughout. Go to Full Review Pinocchio Unstrung (2026) 77% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Jul 31, 2026 4.5/5 Brand New Day is the street-level story I've been wanting from Tom Holland's iteration. It's one of the most mature stories we've seen yet and is the first time that New York feels like the "universe" populated with Spider-Man characters and stakes. Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Feb 28, 2026 2/5 Scream 7 is the type of movie that this franchise used to make fun of. Williamson crafts some good suspense and creative kills but the writing fails this franchise on nearly every level. Go to Full Review Scream 7 (2026) 29% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Jan 23, 2026 4/5 The Bone Temple manages to build upon ideas from the previous film that I was not sold on and fully get me on board. Nia DaCosta approaches this world with a focus that delivers a standout chapter in the franchise and builds excitement for the future. Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Jan 23, 2026 1/5 As a movie, it's a generic and poorly paced January horror film. As an adaptation, it's a completely bastardized cliff notes version of arguably the greatest story in a horror video game. Go to Full Review Return to Silent Hill (2026) 18% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Nov 17, 2025 2/5 Keeper is well shot and acted but was a complete drag to get through. Painfully slow storytelling leading to reveals that are blatantly telegraphed in the opening minutes made for a very frustrating experience. Go to Full Review Keeper (2025) 51% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Nov 17, 2025 4/5 This version of The Running Man is a very fun and exciting old-school action movie that feels strangely devoid of Edgar Wright's standout style. Go to Full Review The Running Man (2025) 61% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Nov 7, 2025 4.5/5 Badlands take a swing that could potentially alienate (pun intended) its core audience and somehow they pull it off! The action, spectacle, and classic underdog hero story makes a very entertaining crowd-pleaser that doesn't water down what fans expect. Go to Full Review Predator: Badlands (2025) 86% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 4.5/5 A simple concept that we all can relate to is elevated to horrifying and shocking levels with Curry Barker's feature debut. Inde Navarrette's physical performance alone will be nightmare fuel for men everywhere. Go to Full Review Obsession (2025) 93% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 4.5/5 Gore Verbinski returns with a film that brilliantly holds a spotlight over the absurdity of our modern culture. You'll constantly feel shocked at the subject matter that is evoking guttural laughter. It's as entertaining as it is profound. Go to Full Review Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 82% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 4.25/5 This is a bigger, faster, and more entertaining sequel in every way. The balance of blood-soaked grittiness with absurdly over-the-top action will bring a sick grin to any fan of revenge movies. Go to Full Review Sisu: Road to Revenge (2025) 93% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 4.25/5 The Plague brilliantly evokes the anxiety of bullying by painting broad strokes of darkness over an everyday coming of age tale. The story never elevates past the drama of pre-teen boys yet gives more tension than most full-blown horror films. Go to Full Review The Plague (2025) 97% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 3.75/5 It's amazing how far a simple concept can go when you fully deliver on the entertainment. A rabid chimpanzee attacking dumb teenagers delivers pure crowd pleasure with a solid sense of humor and relentless practical carnage candy! Go to Full Review Primate (2025) 77% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 3.75/5 Shelby Oaks is a clever blend of influences and filmmaking styles. Stuckmann cements himself as a voice to look out for with a very solid debut. Go to Full Review Shelby Oaks (2023) 55% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 3.25/5 Appofeniacs takes a genuine concern of modern technology and amplifies it to horrifying results. I wish the segregated storylines had more of an impactful through line by the end, but the insanity and carnage made for some sick entertainment. Go to Full Review Appofeniacs (2025) 90% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 3/5 Dolly will inevitably be the new flavor-of-the-month for slasher fans. It feels like the best ideas were left on the table for sequels but there is plenty of grit and grime to make this debut stand out. Ethan Suplee was an absolute standout! Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 3/5 Deathstalker feels like something I would have watched in the 90s...and I mean that as a compliment. The throwback nature of the set design and practical puppets bring a nostalgic edge and the blend of fantasy and horror is a lot of fun. Go to Full Review Deathstalker (2025) 90% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 3/5 This zany horror-comedy is the haircut from hell...in a good way. A villain with truckloads of personality goes a long way in a film that never shys away from absurdity. Go to Full Review Bad Haircut (2025) 100% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 1.5/5 A brilliant concept of corrupt LAPD officers being vampires is completely wasted in an incoherent dogpile of about 15 different films worth of ideas. Clever writing could have saved it but the intended message is as messy and heavy-handed as can be. Go to Full Review Night Patrol (2025) 56% - -

Cody Leach Cody Leach (YouTube) Oct 17, 2025 1.5/5 This trilogy feels like it's trolling us at this point. A 90-minute chase sequence where nothing happens but a wildly out of place CGI boar fight and a hint of an answer to a question no-one was asking. Waste of Time: Chapter 2...
