This fun, moving, and inspiring film is so much more than just a sports documentary. I love that Billie Jean narrates the film herself, and her personality is truly engaging and lively.

Stan and Reinsve anchor this absorbing drama inspired by real events. The title is a perfect metaphor for what happens to the Gheorghiu family. Tough not to get riled up by the issues presented here, and there's no neat resolution in sight.

Oakley’s film is beautifully earthy and atmospheric, with compelling performances from Edgar-Jones and MacKay, but Ang Lee's 1995 version remains the gold standard of Austen adaptation.

Eleazar sashays in her first feature leading role, but the script is far from being rock-solid. The movie is at its best when it’s focused on Misty, but Rock is prone to overindulging, and he squanders most of the talented supporting cast.

Iñárritu & Cruise throw subtlety out the window with a bombastic climate change satire that pulls no punches. It’s unlike anything I’ve watched lately, and it’s so rare to find a film that isn’t adapted from existing material.

A fascinating, albeit slow, slice-of-life that shows the struggles of a young location scout in NYC and the grueling, unglamorous side of TV production.

This feel-good rom-com proves it's hard to overcome the genre tropes, but it’s still an enjoyable watch thanks to the lead actors' electric chemistry.

A well-acted medieval folk hero’s journey that's gritty, grim, and gloomy. Greengrass' shaky-cam style works for the intense action, but it's way too dizzying for the quieter moments.

A story of redemption through violence that could’ve been a good thriller with some script fixes to make it less convoluted. Neeson mostly takes a backseat and lets Levi handle the action, which has genuine tension and proper dread.

A sophisticated, lyrical study of art and ego done as a brilliant slice-of-life. Willem Dafoe & Greta Lee are exquisite; their scenes together are some of the film’s most unforgettable moments.

Parsons seems more focused on creating a vibe rather than delivering a solid story. It's overlong at over 2 hours, and despite good performances, there's no good payoff after such a chaotic, exasperating ride.
